Popular online “conspiracy theorist” Howard Nema has produced a new concept rock album titled “Blind to the World,” which established an entirely new subgenre of musical expression, called “Truth-Rock.”
Launched on July 4th of this year, the long-awaited first album by Nema published under the band name “Useless Eaterz,” who will be performing their repertoire next upcoming Autumn (2023), at small venues across the northeastern United States.
Lineup includes Nema’s rock star son, Patrick Nemaizer, founder and principal songwriter for American Amnesia, a heavy metal band from the Torrington, Connecticut area.
The elder Nema shares vocals, lead & rhythm guitar; backed up by Sam Cesnak on drums (also doubling as project sound engineer and co-producer), and Matt McLoughlin on bass guitar.
Making her professional debut is female vocalist Jerrica Pierce – whose appearance on only one track (Far Away Pt. 1) nevertheless strikes a powerful highlight for the entire album.
Howie got lucky when Ms. Peirce approached him on the street, correctly assuming his wild mane of long curly hair indicated he was a musician.

Indeed, Howie’s been around for decades, playing gigs most his life, although eventually settled down, married his wife Maureen and had Patrick. Mr. Nema later made a name for himself as a right-wing internet talk show host, attracting street recognition and the ire of government officials. His music portfolio contains over a hundred pieces, including several on this album which are nearly 40 years old.

Blind to the World’s storyline centers around a simple age-old theme: Boy meets Girl, during end time tribulations, perpetrated by a Satanic New World Order. You won’t hear any specific details about the Kennedy assassinations, World Trade Center attacks, or COVID mass lockdowns; nor any mention of Trump, or the Q-anon conspiracy cult. None of that. This narrative’s vagueness however beckons the listener to instead focus on the instrumental components, which are masterful.
Upon first listen, headphones are a prerequisite, in order to capture the engineering intricacies (also to protect any nearby neighbors during the “heavy” parts).

Released concurrently with the album is a 2-hour “making of” documentary on Rumble, where B2TW maintains a channel. Filmed at Darkwood Studios in northwestern Connecticut, the video documents the producers breaking down every track and explaining each mix.
Hard work, know-how, and many years of deep contemplation paid off, with a unique and talented finished cut. Howie’s riffs shred seamlessly like a Bushido blade, each note placed with rapid precision along the scale, as only a lifelong rock veteran could prestidigitate.
By the third listen, Blind to the World comes across even deeper, having broken through the barriers of an untrained mind. It concludes as a fulfilling and fun experience, above & beyond the actual lyrics – just as every classic rock album ought to!
Exactly how B2TW’s “Truth-Rock” album differs from a traditional concept album such as Pink Floyd’s “The Wall,” Jethro Tull’s “Thick as a Brick,” or Frank Zappa’s “Joe’s garage” trilogy, is a subtle distinction. B2TW comes subsequent to 9-11, the “Post-Truther” movement; which is a political ideology of awakening, and commitment to actual change.
While Zappa discusses censorship in the abstract, Useless Eaterz members personally experienced real-life shadow-banning and “cancel culture” first-hand. Black rappers have jumped the shark in this new genre, with a number of pro-MAGA hit singles, including Bryson Gray, among others.
The question remains whether Blind to the World will succeed in its deeper meaning, by awakening anybody who actually listens to it.
On a mundane level, it is certainly sure to rock one’s house.
Heavy Metal music, at long last, finally evolving, from a hedonistic base core of “sex, drugs, rock & roll,” to something more lofty and enduring: viz, truth, justice, God & country. This new B2TW album may be purchased from Prophet Motive records at HowardNema.com and mainstream music streaming services including Apple iTunes.
